After delivering supplies by pack horses to Refugio Chileno, Chilean cowboys rest with drinks and a meal. The razor sharp knifes they carry are used in the unpleasant event that a horse slips while enroute and endangers the group. The ropes attaching the unfortunate horse to the rest of the group are quickly cut to prevent the entire group from being pulled over sheer drop offs.
