BOLIVIA - SALAR DE UYUNI ENTRANCE

BOLIVIA - SALAR DE UYUNI ENTRANCE

An entrance/exit point to the Salar de Uyuni salt desert in SW Bolivia. The vehicle in the lower center provides a sense of scale and illustrates the vastness of this region. The Salar de Uyuni is 25 times larger than Utah's Bonneville Salt Flats and is one of the flattest areas on our planet. The elevation is approximately 12,000 feet.
