WELCOME
Thank you for visiting my online galleries where I display my photographic images from the American Southwest and my travels. Many of these same images are displayed at EARTH & LIGHT GALLERY, located in the Coyote Gulch Art Village, in Kayenta, in the city of Ivins, just a few miles west of St. George, Utah, off Old Highway 91.
Selected images are also displayed and available for purchase at SUNSET GALLERY & FRAMER, 3 Main Street, in the heart of St. George.
Over the years I have striven to capture the beauty of the world with medium and large format film and more recently with digital capture. I am now capturing images in digital medium format, a giant step beyond the capabilities of typical digital camera systems, with a quality rivaled only by very large format film.
To assure total control of my imagery from capture to print, I create my own prints on a state of the art digital printing system designed by Canon. My images are available on fine art papers or museum quality archival (long lasting) canvas. My preferred presentation is on canvas. This reduces both cost and size constraints associated with traditional matting and framing with museum grade materials. And because no glass is involved in the presentation of an image on canvas, there is an immediacy that cannot be achieved with glass and attendant reflection issues. I regularly print my large panoramic images as wide as nine feet with amazing clarity.
You may order images directly from this site with complete security. Images under 40" in width may optionally be purchased on Kodak Lustre or Metallic papers and delivered directly to your home or business. Please contact me directly if you wish an image printed on fine art paper or canvas. I can also provide corporate accounts with imaging appropriate for a particular corporate environment. Again, please contact me directly.
I invite you to visit EARTH & LIGHT GALLERY, open 10-5 daily except Mondays.
I moved to Utah from the wet Pacific Northwest in 1986 and quickly fell in love with the red rock and desert climate of the Colorado Plateau. Although I had prior careers in broadcast television and the consumer electronics industry, my serious pursuit of landscape, nature and travel photography, began after moving to northern Utah.
Over the last twenty plus years I have created a portfolio of images from not only the American Southwest but from travels around the world including Europe, Australia, South America, Scandinavia, and Asia. In 2004 my wife Kathleen and I moved to Kayenta in Ivins, Utah. This website specifically features images regularly displayed at our Earth & Light Gallery at Kayenta in Ivins, Utah, located a few miles west of St. George.
Thanks for sharing these wonderful pictures with my family. We will be showing them to all visitors & friends.
