MORNING AT TUWEEP (TOROWEAP), GRAND CANYON NATIONAL PARK, ARIZONA

Known by two different names and spellings, Tuweep (Toroweap) is the western most overlook on the north rim of the Grand Canyon National Park. The Colorado River can be seen flowing nearly 3,000 feet below the rim. This is also the location where the north and south rims of the Grand Canyon are the closest together within the park boundaries.
